A healthy diet and exercise have always been an integral part of my life. This everyday habit evolved through my studies into scientific knowledge and a love for the profession I’ve been practising for 14 years now.
I was born in Munich, Germany, in 1977. In 2002, I completed my studies at the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics of the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. Since then, I have been practicing the profession of nutritionist through home visits, as well as in my private practice at the centre of the city of Thessaloniki.
I am a member of the Hellenic Association of Dietitians-Nutritionists (EDDE) and of the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN).
From 2004 to 2006, I was a scientific associate at the 2 nd Internal Medicine Clinic of the “Ippokrateio” General Hospital of Thessaloniki specialised in nutrition disorders in elderly individuals.
From 2008 to 2011, I was a scientific associate at the Neurological Clinic of “Papageorgiou” General Hospital specialised in informing and supporting patients under anticoagulant treatment, stroke and multiple sclerosis patients, and other nutrition cases treated in the clinic.
Since 2011, I have been an associate of Lymphedema Treatment Centre supervised by plastic surgeon Mr. Dimitris Dionysiou. lymphedema-cure
In 2011, I voluntarily provided nutrition support to the members of the Open Care Centre for the Elderly of the Municipality of Pylaia. studiovismotrix.com/redance
I was trained and now have basic skills in Therapeutic Counseling (Level 5 BTEC Professional Certificate), in order to psychologically support patients and individuals that follow a specific nutrition program.
In addition, I have been invited as a specialised speaker or scientific associate by different schools, day care centres and sports academies, with the aim to promote the Mediterranean diet as an integral part of a healthy way of living.
